What We Do

Service Dog Training

The most visible side of the Service Dog Program. Teaching life skills to dogs and handlers. Well trained service animals are the most help to their handlers, they create the most goodwill for the program, and they impact everyone they encounter in a positive way.

Fully-Trained Dogs

Very often the people who need service dogs are partially, or entirely unable to participate in the training of the dog. This type of work requires a very special kind of dog, one that can work with any handler in a variety of environments. We search every available avenue for these gifted dogs and send them to college. Dogs spend 1-2 years (7-15 in dog years) learning all they can about subjects like item retrieval and physical assistance while they train daily for behavior in public and private environments. These highly trained dogs are then donated to handlers with no ability to purpose train their own animal.

Other Projects

From education, to animal rescue and more we are always innovating and creating. Trying to promote the use of purpose trained animals to add dignity and opportunity to the lives of the people they help as well as promoting the rights of everyone to have the animals performing difficult jobs in public held to the highest possible standards of training and safety.
